You can configure the Health Monitor role
to ignore certain health events, and change how it generates some health events.
What you should know
If you want to ignore all health events, deactivate the Health Monitor role completely. If
you want to temporarily ignore an entity’s health events because you are performing
maintenance work on it,
set it to
maintenance mode.
IMPORTANT: Clearing a health event in the monitoring
list does not remove it from the Health history query filter, but it could make
some of the health statistics calculations impossible.
To select which health events to monitor:
-
Open the System task, and click the Roles
view.
-
Select the Health Monitor role, and click the
Properties tab.
-
Under Events to monitor, select or clear the desired
events.
Most health events come in pairs, such as Database lost and Database recovered. They can only be selected or
ignored together.
-
Add criteria for generating the events, as follows:
Criteria is only supported for some events. For example, you can configure the CPU
usage high health event to only generate on servers whose CPU runs higher than 80%
for a period of 10 seconds.
-
Select the event to modify, and click Edit () at the bottom of the list.
-
In the event details window, adjust the values as required,
and click Save.
-
Click Apply.
