This section lists the settings found in the Schedule Properties
tab, in the System task.
The Properties tab lets you configure the time constraints that define the
schedule.
Date coverage
In the
Date coverage section, you can define a date pattern or specific dates to be
covered by the schedule.
Daily:
Defines a pattern that repeats every day.
Weekly:
Defines a pattern that repeats every week. Each day of the week can have a different
time coverage. This option is not available for twilight schedules.
Ordinal:
Defines a series of patterns that repeat on a monthly or yearly basis. Each date
pattern can have a different time coverage. For example, on July 1st every year, on
the first Sunday of every month, or on the last Friday of October every year.
Specific:
Defines a list of specific dates in the future. Each date can have a different time
coverage. This option is ideal for special events that occur only once.
Time coverage
In the
Time coverage section, you can define which time periods apply during a
24-hour day.
All day:
Covers the entire day. This option is not available for twilight schedules.
Range:
Covers one or multiple discrete time periods within the day. For example, from
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This option is not available for twilight
schedules.
Daytime:
Covers from sunrise to sunset. This option is only available for twilight
schedules.
Nighttime:
Covers from sunset to sunrise. This option is only available for twilight
schedules.
